W’s “Terrible Twos” workout was so popular, that she’s back with the Terrible Two’s, Part 2! In this downloadable indoor cycling workout, you’ll power through two ladder drills, proving that sometimes what first goes down must come back up.
After a quick warm-up, you’ll get your legs moving with a few interval climbs. Then the first ladder drill starts running down a fast, flat road… but don’t worry, it wouldn’t be a ladder if it stayed that way for long! You’ll get a working-recovery endurance ride to refuel the tank. Then it’s off to ladder drill number two, this time heading straight up a leg-conditioning steep hill. By the end of this 40 minutes of calorie-burning cardio, you’ll have a mountain of sweat AND you’ll feel like you’ve biked up a mountain! Are you up for the challenge? Yes! Hop on your bike and let’s ride.

Welcome to my favorite workout of all time – I call it PRIME CLIMB… 2! The first Prime Climb workout was so wildly popular that I was compelled to bring you a sequel.
In this amazing 40 Minute Spin Class, we’re climbing with our legs timed to the beat of the music for pretty much 30 minutes straight. I know, I know, that sounds so hard, but that’s not how you should look at it. It’s an incredible accomplishment and you CAN do it.
In the first Prime Climb, we went from shorter, steeper hills, to longer, flatter hills. In this one we flip that – starting with longer, flatter hills, then ending with shorter, steeper grades. Life’s a climb, so let’s start trekking.
~Cat
P.S. If you missed the Original Prime Climb, you can see it here. You don’t have to have taken it to excel on this ride, but do try it soon if you have not. And if you’re not an All Access Pass holder (why not btw), you can download the original Prime Climb here.

A new study published in the International Journal of Sports Medicine shows that amateurs don’t get any added benefits from high cadence cycling, outdoors. On a long ride, it can lead to early fatigue. However, when riding indoors, a high cycling cadence can help reduce the stress and strain put on your leg muscles, allowing you to ride for a longer time without developing fatigue. The whole idea behind high cadence cycling is that your muscles contract more frequently, but not as intensely. This online Spinning class with lots of high cadence drills will help you focus on an incremental increase of cadence, coupled with the slight decrease of resistance (gear). I know you’ve got the need for speed, so let’s flip those feet fast!
