Equipment: Indoor Cycling Bike / Treadmill

Cycling and Running in the same workout? Yep, that’s exactly what you get in this 60-minute Indoor Duathlon Workout. We call this cardio monster “Brick” because you are stacking two disciplines on top of each other with minimal transition or rest between. Starting on the bike, we’re powering through flats, climbs, jumps, and sprints. Then we transition FAST (just like a real duathlon) onto the treadmill for a heart pumpin’ 5K. The bike and tread sessions by themselves are great workouts, but the magic happens when you put ‘em together. Hop on and let’s do this!

Amazing workout!!! Loved the treadmill portion didn’t have incline changes, so was able to do outside. Legs felt like jelly going into the run. Great soundtrack and great workout! Would love more similar to this.

I love these combo workouts! This was so much fun and great music (the Phil Collins remix is amazing!). I don’t have a treadmill, so I used my elliptical for the treadmill portion. Exactly the cardio burn I needed today!

I’ve never done a brick before! It was so challenging (I did walk a little) but it was awesome!! I feel amazing! And as always, Brian is amazing, encouraging and just plain old fantastic!

This was a great workout. Went by so fast! Would love a duathlon (bike,run, bike). I used my elliptical instead of running for this one and it worked great!

Officially have brick legs after that one. Thanks for building the foundation in that workout. It truly was great! When I saw this new workout I couldn’t wait to go for it. Sure beats -12 temps outside in the northeast! Great job Brian!

I just finished this workout. I have always wanted to do a duathlon, and now I have. Brian was the perfect trainer to get me through the workout, and he always pushes/encourages me to do things I am not quite sure I can do. Thanks to Brian and SSOD for making my fitness world a wonderful place.

Just not a great runner. I did the running and really don’t care much for the pounding. Maybe use the elliptical on the running portion? At least I did try the running. Anyway what a class. I’ll figure something out. Thanks Brian.

I don’t have a treadmill but it didn’t stop me from nearly destroying myself on the bike trying to keep up with the sprints 🥵
